The BlackOUT Company
make it happen.
The BlackOUT Company is a creative hub of theatre, film, art, music, and dance for people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, and beyond. We combine art and activism to spread peace and love throughout our community.
The BlackOUT Company was founded in 2015 as a way for black students to express themselves artistically within a white university without many options. Today it has grown into a creative hub of theatre, film, art, music, and dance for people of color, the lgbtq+ community, and beyond.
Xandria. is the founder and creative director of The BlackOUT Company. She began the company as a way to express her artistry in theatre, film, dance, and music from a black, queer standpoint- with no limits. Xandria. has been nationally awarded at the Kennedy Center for her direction of An Octoroon, She Kills Monsters, and Hir. Some of her favorite acting highlights include Roxie Hart in Chicago, Sylvia in Game of Love and Chance, and Prudie Cupp in Pumpboys and Dinettes.
